The Honors House, opened in Fall 2002, is a newly remodeled five-bedroom, three and one-half bathroom home available to both male and female students in the MSU Honors Program.  This beautifully furnished house is located just across the street from the MSU campus, directly adjacent to the President’s mansion.  A fully furnished TV Room, formal dining room, comfort den, breakfast nook, laundry room, and kitchen are at the residents’ full disposal, as well as plenty of parking.

Involvement of the Honors Program is of great importance to the success of the Honors House.  Not only do the nine residents of the Honors House persistently invite Honors faculty over for dinner and conversation, but they also host several programs of social and academic nature for the students.  In fact, this year marks the 2nd year the Honors House has hosted an all-campus Halloween Party for their fellow students.  Add these self-initiated programs to the ongoing events and functions the Honors Program and Honors Program Student Committee hosts at the Honors House and you have a recipe for success!!
