Pierce Hall is a three story all male, 227 bed facility built around a central courtyard.
Features of this hall include a large comfort lobby and television lounge on the first floor as well as a full sized kitchen. Two large laundry facilities are available for resident use as well as several private study carrels and group study rooms. The second floor offers a large recreational and game area as well as big screen television lounge and small kitchen area.
Each room features MicroFridge units, vanity with sink and semi-private living arrangements. Air conditioning, private phone lines complete with voice mail. Cable TV service and Ethernet ports are also available in each room.
Pierce Hall features private bathrooms as opposed to traditional community washrooms to provide residents with enhanced comfort and privacy in their residence hall community.
The service desk located in the hall provides 24-hour access for checking-out games, equipment, cleaning supplies, maintenance request forms, and other services which the resident student may require. Free copies of USA Today, The Dallas Morning News, and The Wichita Falls Times-Record News are available across from the office each weekday morning.
Semi-Private (two residents are assigned to this room type)
Each resident is provided with a desk and chair. The desk is two feet deep and four feet wide. Each closet is 70" wide and 8' high. A spring rod may be used for the closet door. The windows are 52" high and 36" wide. Mini blinds are provided.
